Supporting Animals in Need
Big things are happening for animals in Lumpkin County!
Exciting changes are underway at the Lumpkin County Animal Shelter as construction of the new shelter is officially in progress! During construction, the shelter is closed to regular public access and operating by appointment only. We appreciate our community’s patience and understanding during this transition as we look forward to a new and improved space for the animals in our care. For questions, assistance, or to schedule an appointment, please call the shelter at 706-867-7297.
